These characters hold a special place in my heart. I loved this book and the world it takes you into... the Windy City feels alive, and I was so excited to finish reading it, but also sad knowing I wouldn’t get to return there anytime soon.
I especially loved the powerful female lead, she’s ambitious, smart, and unapologetically herself. Seeing her navigate her career and her heart at the same time made her feel so real and inspiring.
The writing is incredible; the emotions leap off the page and stay with you long after you close the book. Every laugh, every heartbreak, every tender moment felt real.
This special edition is a dream — the edges are beautiful, and it makes the story feel even more magical.
If you love character-driven contemporary romance with heart and a heroine who truly shines, this book is a must-read.
